Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a contract role in Vancouver, BC. You will support billing, collections, and customer account management in a high-volume environment, generating accurate invoices, applying payments, and reconciling accounts.

You will work with large ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/JD Edwards), manage reconciling aging, and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams while supporting month-end processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience with invoicing and collections.
• Experience processing high volumes of invoices (200-300+ per month).
• Experience following up on outstanding payments via phone and email.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Outlook, Word).
• Experience working with large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and timely.
• Process high volumes of invoices with accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances via phone and email.
• Investigate and resolve billing inquiries related to invoices and payments.
• Process and apply customer payments (EFTs, cheques, wire transfers).
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and unapplied cash.
• Ensure invoices align with contracts and pricing.
• Maintain accurate customer account records and conduct reconciliations.
