Job summary

The Artona Group in Vancouver, BC is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. You will handle day-to-day accounting tasks using QuickBooks Online, input data, process invoices, and help with reconciliations on a fast-paced, calendar-driven schedule.

You should bring a fresh perspective to legacy processes, maintain accurate digital records, and collaborate with operations to ensure timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience with QuickBooks Online (minimum 1 year).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated and reliable with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting tasks including data entry, invoicing and reconciliations using QuickBooks Online.
• Assist with processing payments, tracking expenses and generating reports.
• Help modernize accounting practices by offering input on workflows and improvements.
• Maintain accurate and organized digital records and refine processes as needed.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Support seasonal accounting needs around photo day activities and vendor payments.
