Job summary

Dometic is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join the Vancouver team. You will process high volumes of supplier invoices, reconcile AP sub-ledger to vendor statements, and handle weekly payment runs and manual cheques. This role reports to the Assistant Controller and is based in Vancouver, BC.

You will work in a dynamic, global environment with opportunities to grow, manage multi-step AP processes, and contribute to month-end activities while maintaining accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 graduation; two years related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn other applications quickly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a strong team.

Responsibilities

• Code and enter data into a computerized accounts payable system; reconcile AP sub-ledger to vendor statements.
• Verify invoice accuracy: prices, quantities, discounts, tax extensions and totals.
• Reconcile supplier statements and other accounts as required.
• Resolve discrepancies and ensure credit is received; manage stop-payments or PO amendments.
• Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers; analyze invoice/expense reports.
• Prepare weekly payment runs and cheques; create payment batches.
• Create reports for management review in a timely manner.
• Maintain ledgers by posting account transactions and reconciling GL to subledgers.
• Assist month-end process and tax accruals; conduct ad hoc reports.
• Maintain status of ePOs and MRRs in internal system (eForms).
