Qualifications

• Employment and labour law experience gained from a leading law firm.
• Experience representing employers at tribunal hearings and court proceedings.
• Experience advising employers in key areas of employment and labour law, including corporate transactions and reorganizations.
• Experience advising on employment contracts and executive compensation.
• Experience structuring employee dismissals/layoffs and responding to wrongful/constructive dismissal claims.
• Knowledge of human rights, workplace accommodations, and workplace investigations.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety and workers’ compensation.
• Experience with collective agreement administration, bargaining, certification/decertification, strikes, lockouts and grievance arbitration.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Superior communication and drafting skills, with a strong attention to detail.
