Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a talented UX Researcher to support Kimberley-based product development. You will plan and conduct studies, analyze data, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for product improvements.

Collaboration with Product, UX/UI, and Engineering teams is essential to define objectives and integrate insights into development. Strong communication and remote work capabilities are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in conducting UX research for digital products.
• Proficiency in a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Experience with research tools and platforms (e.g., UserTesting.com, SurveyMonkey, Optimal Workshop).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate research findings effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting, supporting our Kimberley-based operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and conduct a range of user research studies (e.g., usability testing, user interviews, surveys, persona development).
• Analyze research data, synthesize findings, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for product improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Management, UX/UI Design, Engineering) to define research objectives and integrate findings into the product development process.
• Develop research plans, recruit participants, and moderate research sessions.
• Communicate research findings clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest methodologies and best practices in UX research.
• Contribute to the development of user personas, journey maps, and other UX artifacts.
