Qualifications

• Two-year Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• Eligibility for membership in ASET as CET (Certified Engineering Technologist).

Responsibilities

• Review and assess technical applications for on-street parking, including accessible parking and loading zones.
• Prepare detailed parking sign plans, traffic control plans, and designs for permanent and temporary infrastructure.
• Conduct field work and data collection to support project designs and mobility network signage.
• Analyze field data to provide actionable recommendations for traffic safety improvements and speed limit adjustments.
• Review and provide expert commentary on engineering design plans submitted by consultants and internal teams.
• Draft concept plans and prepare graphics for public notices, reports, and events.
• Research and recommend updates to traffic-related bylaws and internal technical guidelines.
• Respond to inquiries from the public, internal teams, and community members regarding traffic operations, signage, and safety.
