Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited's Atlantic Superstore in Halifax is seeking Uniformed Asset Protection Personnel to welcome customers, respond to safety initiatives, and support store teams. This role emphasizes exceptional service and collaboration across colleagues.

You will participate in security procedures, monitor for hazards, and help maintain a safe, welcoming shopping environment. In-house training, benefits, and pension are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience within a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to foster partnerships with store teams.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a talent for building relationships.
• Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm in high tension situations.
• Ability to walk or stand in the same position for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• First Aid and CPR certified is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service & support to all internal and external customers
• Respond to Gatekeeper alarms and receipt check as required
• Assess safety hazards and take proper procedures to ensure customer safety
• Escalate any crisis or emergency situations in a timely manner
• Maintain and submit daily, weekly, and monthly status reports
• All other duties as required
