Your Next Challenge:

Reporting to the Mine Supervisor, you will be part of the Mobile Maintenance Department, supporting the safe and continuous operation of the site. You will install, repair, and maintain equipment through planned and unplanned maintenance, ensuring goals are met while promoting Agnico Eagle’s values, health & safety standards, and environmental responsibility.

• Complete work according to electrical codes and best practices;
• Install and terminate 15kv, 5kv, 600-volt power distribution;
• Examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, coaxial cables, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components;
• Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and blueprints;
• Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, recording results and findings;
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems such as power distribution, ventilation, communication systems, and drilling equipment;
• Make and document changes to electrical systems;
• Follow OHSA acts and regulations for mines, including Z462 standards;
• Work on daily work orders following instructions;
• Support centralized maintenance team;
• Follow all procedures and policies;
• Promote a safe work environment;
• Practice IRS procedures;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed

• Ability to read and interpret electrical prints;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
• Understanding of lockouts and high voltage switching;
• Proficiency with test equipment such as multimeters, insulation testers, and signal generators;
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills;
• Knowledge of PLC systems is an asset;
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Schedule: 7/7 rotation at our Upper Beaver Gold Project in Dobie, ON.
