Location : Ottawa or Quebec area with 100% Remote and 60-70% business travel domestically and occasional international travel
Reports to : Senior Director of Service
Standard Schedule : Monday – Friday, hours vary; must be able to work weekends, early mornings, and some evenings
FLSA Status : Non-Exempt / Hourly
Compensation : $27 - $46 per hour
The Service Technician–Electrician travels to customer locations to install, maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and some mechanical components on Koenig & Bauer printing presses, including pneumatic circuits and peripheral equipment such as Lithec, Baldwin, Technotrans, Harris, Bruno, and BDT. The technician interacts directly with customers, listening to their needs and asking questions to prepare for service calls. Effective communication of technical information and resolutions is essential, as is developing a plan of action to address customer issues efficiently and with quality work.
