Job description

Description

• Troubleshooting and repairing Caterpillar and other mechanical equipment.
• Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily.
• Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes).
• Interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning team.
• Work with the Service Supervisor and Leadhand on various tasks as required.

Qualifications :

• Journeyperson Electrical Certification
• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification
• Valid driver's license with a recent successful driver abstract.
• Previous Caterpillar experience is an asset.
• Willingness to participate in and complete additional training.
• Self-motivated, computer literate, safety-oriented, with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Note :

• Travel is required throughout Alberta and NWT.
• Preference for candidate locations: Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, and Grande Prairie.
• This position will work a 7x7 continuous shift.
• Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement.
