Job summary

Cidel is seeking a Trust Administrator who thrives in a collaborative environment, supports Trust Officers, and handles a diverse portfolio of Trust and Estate accounts. Your meticulous attention to detail and strong communication will be key to delivering outstanding client service.

The role requires post-secondary education and 2–5 years of experience in the trust industry or related client services, working in a Toronto-based full-time capacity.

  • Assists Trust Officers with Trust and Estate Administration and related documents.

  • Ensures administration complies with governing documents and laws.
  • Provides excellent client service and supports team efficiency.
  • Keeps account information up to date in internal systems.
  • Supports other team members in Trust and Estate activities.

Your meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and commitment to administrative excellence will be key as you help manage a diverse portfolio of Trust and Estate accounts. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our team’s success and play an essential role in delivering outstanding client service.

Areas Of Focus Will Include
  • Assists Trust Officers with Trust and Estate Administration – preparation of various statements, letters, annual review forms and other documents as well as pro-actively moving accounts through this process.
  • Maintain timely written, verbal, and electronic communication with internal and external contacts, where required.
  • Assists Trust Officers in ensuring all trust administration is carried out in accordance with the terms of governing documents, relevant legislation, client needs, and group policy.
  • Provides excellent service to clients and other team members and understands the need for operational efficacy.
  • Assists Trust Officers in responding to client queries
  • Ensures all account information on internal systems is up to date, complete, and accurate.
  • Makes effective use of all support groups to ensure efficient administration and quality client service.
  • Assists other Cidel group team members in various Trust and Estate related activities.
Requirements
  • Understanding of relevant legal terminology and concepts
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent.
  • 2 - 5 years’ experience working in trust industry, trust investments, legal, or client services.
  • Excellent written/verbal/electronic communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with others and perceived as a professional business partner with clients and co-workers
  • Ability to resolve issues and aspects of administration independently

  • Ability to work effectively with others and to be perceived by others as a team player
  • Exhibits sound judgement and decision-making abilities
