Job summary

Cidel, a Canadian-based private bank and asset manager, is seeking a Trust Administrator in Toronto to support Trust Officers in managing a diverse portfolio of Trust and Estate accounts. The role emphasizes meticulous attention to detail, strong communication, and collaborative teamwork.

You will help prepare statements and forms, ensure accuracy in systems, and respond to client inquiries while maintaining high service standards. This position is full-time and located in Toronto.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience in trust industry, trust investments, legal, or client services.
• Excellent written/verbal/electronic communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with others and be perceived as a professional business partner with clients and co-workers.
• Ability to resolve issues and aspects of administration independently.

Responsibilities

• Assists Trust Officers with Trust and Estate Administration - preparation of statements, letters, annual review forms and other documents.
• Maintain timely written, verbal, and electronic communication with internal and external contacts as required.
• Ensures all trust administration is carried out in accordance with governing documents, legislation, client needs, and group policy.
• Provide excellent service to clients and team members and support operational efficacy.
• Respond to client queries on trust matters.
• Keep internal systems up to date with accurate account information.
• Coordinate with support groups to ensure efficient administration and quality client service.
• Assist other team members in Trust and Estate activities.
