Charger Logistics Inc. is a world-class asset-based carrier with locations across North America. We are expanding and seeking a motivated Truck/Coach Technician for our Dorval office to diagnose, repair, and maintain medium and heavy-duty trucks.

Responsibilities include inspecting reports, performing maintenance, and ensuring safety procedures. Fresh graduates with relevant training and a clean driving record are encouraged to apply; onsite work in Dorval with healthcare benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing medium/high-duty trucks.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Familiar with DOT/MTO rules a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive driver and owner/operator reports and diagnose problems.
• Conduct maintenance inspections and repairs on medium/high-duty trucks.
• Repair brakes, steering, suspension, electrical systems as needed.
• Recondition and maintain equipment and components.
• Ensure all tasks follow Charger safety procedures.

We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our Service Department based out of our Dorval office.

Responsibilities:

• Receive driver and owner/operator reports and conduct initial inspection to diagnose problem using test drives and test instruments, such as pressure gauges, motor analyzers, and other equipment as needed
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs, air and hydraulic brake repairs, warranty procedures, steering and suspension, electrical diagnostics, etc. all on medium and heavy duty trucks
• Clean, repair, recondition and maintain equipment and components
• Responsible for getting equipment back up and running in the most efficient and cost-effective manner available
• Perform all tasks according to Charger safety procedures

• 310T and/or 310J licenses are an asset
• Freshers graduated from Truck & coach technician course or Motive Power technician course
• Valid G-class driver’s license with clear driving record
• Knowledge of truck parts and equipment and truck repairs
• Knowledge of DOT/MTO rules and regulations is an asset
• Effective problem solver with the ability to understand issues and find solutions in a timely manner
• High attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
