Job summary

Charger Logistics Inc. is seeking a motivated individual for our Service Department at the Dorval office. You will diagnose issues on medium and heavy truck fleets, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure rapid, cost-effective repairs while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires familiarity with truck parts, equipment, and DOT/MTO regulations, with licenses such as 310T/310J considered assets. G-class license and strong problem-solving abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Freshers graduated from Truck & coach technician course or Motive Power technician course.
• Valid G-class driver’s license with clear driving record
• Knowledge of truck parts and equipment and truck repairs
• Knowledge of DOT/MTO rules and regulations is an asset
• 310T and/or 310J licenses are an asset

Responsibilities

• Receive driver and owner/operator reports and conduct initial inspection to diagnose problem using test drives and test instruments
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on medium and heavy duty trucks
• Repair and maintain equipment and components to ensure back-up running
• Perform tasks according to Charger safety procedures

We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our Service Department based out of our Dorval office.

Responsibilities:

• Receive driver and owner/operator reports and conduct initial inspection to diagnose problem using test drives and test instruments, such as pressure gauges, motor analyzers, and other equipment as needed
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs, air and hydraulic brake repairs, warranty procedures, steering and suspension, electrical diagnostics, etc. all on medium and heavy duty trucks
• Clean, repair, recondition and maintain equipment and components
• Responsible for getting equipment back up and running in the most efficient and cost-effective manner available
• Perform all tasks according to Charger safety procedures

• 310T and/or 310J licenses are an asset
