Job summary

Charger Logistics Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Truck Technician for our Brampton service facility. You will diagnose, repair and maintain medium and heavy-duty trucks, perform inspections and ensure equipment uptime in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has mechanical experience, a valid driver's license, knowledge of truck parts, and the ability to follow safety procedures. DOT/MTO rules knowledge is a plus, with strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive driver and owner/operator reports and diagnose problems using test drives and instruments.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on medium and heavy-duty trucks.
• Clean, repair, recondition and maintain equipment and components.
• Get equipment back up and running in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Follow Charger safety procedures for all tasks.

We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our Service Department based out of our Brampton Location.

Responsibilities

• Receive driver and owner/operator reports and conduct initial inspection to diagnose problem using test drives and test instruments, such as pressure gauges, motor analyzers, and other equipment as needed
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs, air and hydraulic brake repairs, warranty procedures, steering and suspension, electrical diagnostics, etc. all on medium and heavy-duty trucks
• Clean, repair, recondition and maintain equipment and components
• Responsible for getting equipment back up and running in the most efficient and cost-effective manner available
• Perform all tasks according to Charger safety procedures

Requirements
