Job summary

Aramark Canada is hiring a full-time Truck Supervisor at Queen's University campus in Kingston, ON to coordinate deliveries, events and other logistics under the Food Services team. You'll help manage staffing, control costs, ensure safety and service quality, and drive guest satisfaction while supporting the management team with timely, efficient operations.

The role emphasizes strong communication, adherence to safety standards, and teamwork to deliver memorable dining experiences for campus

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a related field or business area.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, holidays and late nights.
• Smart Server Certification preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Controls labor costs by supervising daily staffing and driving efficiency.
• Supports catering logistics and executes work orders.
• Coordinates events with drivers to meet logistics standards.
• Maintains control of production, supply costs, and inventory per SOPs.
• Audits service and quality for bar services, buffets, dinners, and client requirements.
• Adheres to tracking procedures and operates within policies.
• Develops strategies to meet customer satisfaction goals.
• Supervises teamwork and day-to-day staff issues professionally.
• Supports training programs to improve guest service, revenue, and morale.
• Ensures time and attendance procedures are followed.
• Keeps staffing aligned with guidelines and makes daily adjustments.
• Trains all employees to company safety, health, and sanitation standards.
• Promotes good public relations.

The Hourly Supervisor is responsible for improving the profitability of Operations. This person will ensure the highest level of customer service, safety, sanitation, quality, and consistency while driving sales and controlling costs. Job Responsibilities

• Controls the labor costs by supervising daily staffing levels as needed while driving efficiency from all staff.
• Supports catering logistic station in executing work orders.
• Ensures efficient handling of events coordinating with drivers to ensure all logistics standards are met.
• Retains control of production costs, supply costs, and inventory by adhering to all standards of operation.
• Audits service and quality on a regular basis including bar services, buffets, dinners and other services as required by the client
• Adheres to all standards and established tracking procedures daily.
• Develops and implements strategies to achieve customer satisfaction goals.
• Supervises teamwork and service on a regular basis.
• Supervises day-to-day employee issues in a professional manner while adhering to all Aramark policies and procedures.
• Supports and implements training programs that develop skills to better serve guests, build repeat business, grow revenue, and improve morale.
• Supervisor accurate adherence to Aramark's time and attendance procedures.
• Ensure staffing level consistent with established guidelines and make daily adjustments based on business needs.
• All employees to be trained according to company standards for safety, health, and sanitation procedure

Qualifications

• Must have 1-2 years of relevant experience working in a relevant business area or field of study
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Be able to work a flexible schedule including, days, nights, weekends, holiday and late nights
• Smart Server Certification, preferred
• Ability to remain flexible and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
