Job summary

Aramark is hiring for a food service role at Dalhousie University. You will provide courteous customer service, assist with cash handling, educate customers on menu items, and maintain hygiene across service areas.

Responsibilities include food prep at the assigned station, stocking shelves, and following FIFO/waste logs. This is a union position with SEIU Local 2. Medical, dental, vacation and other benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience is an asset.
• Valid WHMIS and Food Safe (Basic or Advanced), First Aid Certification is an asset.
• Knowledge of and commitment to upholding high standards of food safety and hygiene.
• Additional certification may be required by work location.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently supervised and unsupervised.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
