Job summary

Hancon Mining Division Inc. in Matachewan, Ontario, is hiring for an underground haul truck operator on a full-time basis. The schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off, with compensation of $53.00 to $61.00 per hour.

You will transport muck, ore, and waste rock, coordinating with Mine Operations and site personnel to maintain safe, efficient underground operations. Qualified candidates bring underground haul truck experience, a valid driver's licence, and a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating haul trucks in underground mining.
• Basic Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core Program (770010) with modules U0000, U0001, U0002, U00012 and U0091.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground haul trucks to safely and efficiently transport muck, ore, waste rock, and other materials.
• Load and unload material efficiently while maintaining safe loading practices.
• Work closely with Mine Operations, Maintenance, and other site personnel to support safe, efficient underground operations.
• Participate in workplace inspections, safety meetings, and other site safety initiatives.
• All other duties as assigned

About This Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
