Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience repairing agricultural, automotive, heavy equipment, or related mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of engines, electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics and powertrain.
• Ability to use diagnostic software and basic computer functions.
• Commitment to ongoing technical training and professional development.
• Experience with John Deere or similar equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair and maintain equipment with focus on customer service.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer specs.
• Complete repairs accurately with clear service documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain equipment with a strong commitment to customer support and quality workmanship
• Use diagnostic tools, software, and technology to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and complete complex repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service according to manufacturer specifications
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining clear service documentation
• Maintain current knowledge of John Deere agriculture products and other equipment supported by the dealership
• Participate in manufacturer, dealer-led, and technical training programs to further develop skills and technical capabilities
• Work closely with Service, Parts, and other technicians to support customers and complete work effectively

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience performing agricultural equipment, automotive, heavy equipment, powersports, construction, or related complex mechanical repairs
• Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and powertrain components
• Ability to use diagnostic software, electronic service tools, and basic computer functions
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and contribute within a team environment
• Commitment to professional development and ongoing technical training
• Experience with John Deere and competitive products is a definite asset
• Candidates ideally will possess a Journeyperson Agricultural Technician certification or equivalent in a mechanical field (i.e. Heavy Equipment, Automotive)
