Job summary

Shelburne Smile Centre is seeking a Treatment Coordinator to support patients through the treatment process, from consultation to completion. You will coordinate appointments, explain financial options, and answer questions to ensure a seamless patient experience.

The role requires clinical coordination experience, strong customer service, and familiarity with dental software. This is a full-time position in Shelburne, Ontario, with a schedule that includes weekdays and alternating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Previous clinical experience as a Treatment/Scheduling Coordinator is required.
• Knowledge and understanding of dental treatment plans and ability to educate patients is required.
• Experience with dental software programs is required.
• Strong customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for patients, explaining treatment plans, procedures, costs, and financing options.
• Support treatment planning by coordinating appointments and follow-ups with the dental team.
• Present treatment costs, collect payments, process insurance claims, and assist with payment plans.
• Build strong patient relationships to encourage treatment acceptance, retention, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure smooth scheduling to optimize chair time.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to deliver seamless, high-quality care.
• Uphold privacy, ethical, and regulatory standards in all patient interactions.

As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play an important role in helping patients understand and feel confident about their recommended treatment. You will work closely with our clinical and administrative teams to coordinate care, explain treatment plans and financial options, answer patient questions, and ensure a seamless experience from consultation through treatment. We are looking for a compassionate, organized, and personable individual who enjoys connecting with people and is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the patient experience.

• Monday 11am-8pm
• Tuesday 9am-5pm
• Wednesday 9am-5pm
• Thursday 8am-5pm
• Fridays 9am-5pm
• Alternating Saturdays 9am-2pm

The wage for this Treatment Coordinator position is $27-$30/hour depending on skills, experience, and location. Please note that this is a replacement job opening.

Your Role

About You

• Previous clinical experience as a Treatment/Scheduling Coordinator is required
• Previous Dental Assisting experience is required
• Knowledge and understanding of dental treatment plans and ability to educate patients is required
• Experience with dental software programs is required
• Strong customer service experience
