Job summary

Smiles Dental Group is seeking an experienced Treatment Coordinator in Northern Alberta. You’ll present treatment plans, explain insurance coverage and financing, and coordinate payment options while ensuring every patient feels informed and supported throughout their journey.

You will collaborate with dentists and clinical staff to improve treatment acceptance and deliver an outstanding patient experience, drawing on 5+ years of dental office work and Dentrix expertise.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of dental office experience.
• 3–5 years of Dentrix experience.
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance, treatment planning, accounts receivable, and patient financials.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
• Orthodontic treatment coordination experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Present treatment plans confidently and explain insurance coverage and financing options.
• Coordinate payment arrangements and ensure patients feel informed and supported.
• Work closely with dentists and clinical team to improve treatment acceptance and patient experience.

Compensation

$28.00–$36.00 per hour, based on experience, plus performance bonuses.

About the Role

You’ll play a key role in helping patients move forward with the treatment they need by confidently presenting treatment plans, explaining insurance coverage and financing options, coordinating payment arrangements, and ensuring every patient feels informed and supported throughout their journey.

Working closely with our dentists and clinical team, you’ll help improve treatment acceptance while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

• Minimum 5 years of dental office experience
