Job summary

Ameresco Canada Inc. is seeking a traveling Project Manager for Western Canada, based in Edmonton with a rotation of 10 days on / 4 days off.

You will oversee ground-up warehouse/retail construction valued at $30M+, coordinating with clients, consultants, and trades to deliver on time and on budget. The role demands a seasoned leader with strong communication, budgeting, scheduling, and safety compliance skills.

Qualifications

• Ten years of construction experience.
• Strong understanding of construction standards, regulations, and codes.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and trades.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage schedules/budgets.
• Willingness to travel across Western Canada on a 10-on/4-off rotation.

Responsibilities

• Holds overall responsibility for successful project execution per contract and quality requirements.
• Primary contact between client, consultants, trades, and site superintendent to move projects from conception to completion.
• Manages on-site work to keep scope on budget and on schedule.
• Coordinates internal and external resources to develop execution plans and supervision.
• Ensures construction complies with drawings, specs, and codes.
• Provides guidance to site superintendents and coordinators; reviews purchasing and subcontract invoices.
• Ensures OH&S compliance for the applicable provincial acts.
