Job summary

ARCO/Murray International Construction is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to lead ground-up cold storage, light industrial, and commercial projects across Canada. You will manage field operations, safety, scheduling, and contractor coordination from day one to completion, ensuring quality and profitability.

The ideal candidate has 5–25 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years as a lead superintendent, plus strong computer skills and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 5–25 years of construction experience with at least 5 years as a lead superintendent.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling programs.
• Valid driver's license required for your state/province of residence.

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review meetings to receive project information and preplanning details.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and integrate with project schedules.
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specs and schedule while maintaining safety and quality.
• Prepare and review project progress and cost reports with the project manager.
• Ensure timely procurement, approvals of shop drawings and material samples, and effective communication with owner and architects.
