Job summary

Aplin is seeking a Travelling Superintendent to lead large-scale retail, warehouse and distribution projects across Canada. You will manage on-site operations, drive schedules, safety and quality, and mentor site teams while traveling per rotation.

This role features a 10-on/4-off rotation, 15% travel uplift, $165/day per diem, vehicle rental allowance, and competitive CAD 150k–180k compensation with LOA, health benefits, pension matching and discretionary bonuses.

Qualifications

Take the lead on major retail, warehouse, and distribution projects across Western Canada with an industry-leading design-build contractor. This Travelling Superintendent role offers strong compensation, a 10-days-on/4-days-off rotation, and the opportunity to lead $20M–$50M projects while working with an experienced and collaborative team.

About the Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a Travelling Superintendent to manage large-scale projects across Canada with projects currently across Alberta and The Prairies, primarily within the retail, warehouse, and distribution sectors. Typical project values range from $20M to $50M, including big-box retail builds, logistics centers, and multi-acre site developments.

The role offers a 10-days-on / 4-days-off rotation, 15% travel uplift, $165/day per diem, and vehicle rental allowance. You’ll be supported by an experienced project management team and work on projects that challenge and grow your leadership abilities.

About the Position

Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Travelling Superintendent will be responsible for on-site leadership and coordination throughout the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
