Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heating, cooling, and power equipment at customer sites across Canada. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, train customers on basic operations, and document work orders using our digital systems.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, excellent customer service, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Experience as Field Service Technician or similar trades (HVAC, Diesel, Heavy Equipment).
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heating, cooling, and power equipment at customer locations and branch facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections to ensure fleet readiness.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fuel system issues.
• Respond to customer service calls and provide timely technical support.
• Train customers on safe operation and basic maintenance of rental equipment.
• Complete service reports, inspection documentation, and work orders using company technology.
• Work closely with Operations and Sales teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Significant travel (including overnights) throughout Canada.
