Job summary

REIC Rentals (Cahill Heating) is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heating equipment at customer locations and company facilities across North America. You’ll work with industry-leading gear and solve technical challenges in diverse environments.

This role emphasizes preventative maintenance, timely repair, and clear customer communication. You’ll train customers on safe operation, complete service documentation, and collaborate with internal teams,

Qualifications

• Mechanical, diesel, HVAC, industrial, or related technical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable using mobile devices, laptops, and service software.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to tow trailers or willingness to learn.
• Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heating equipment at customer locations and company facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating at peak performance and rental-ready condition.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement timely solutions.
• Provide exceptional customer service while representing REIC professionally in the field.
• Train customers on the safe and effective operation of equipment.
• Complete service documentation using company-provided technology.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Travel up to 50% throughout North America supporting customer and project needs.

Preferred Experience
