Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heating, cooling, and power equipment at customer locations and branch facilities across Canada and the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Field Service Technician or similar trade.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience servicing diesel engines, heating systems, generators, pumps, or industrial equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to tow equipment trailers when required.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heating, cooling, and power equipment at customer locations and branch facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections to ensure fleet readiness.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fuel system issues.
• Respond to customer service calls and provide timely technical support.
• Train customers on the safe operation and basic maintenance of rental equipment.
• Complete service reports, inspection documentation, and work orders using company technology.
• Work closely with Operations and Sales teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Travel up to 50% throughout Canada and the U.S., supporting customers wherever they're working.
