Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Construction Site Superintendent to oversee ICI GC/CM projects across Alberta and BC from our Edmonton base. The role requires coordinating with project teams and subcontractors to meet schedules and budgets while maintaining safety and quality.

You will travel across Western Canada to manage multiple sites, lead teams, review plans, and report progress to clients and stakeholders. A competitive CAD salary and benefits package accompanies this position.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in ICI GC/CM new build projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness and ability to travel across Western Canada to oversee projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and execution of work.
• Monitor on-site safety and enforce compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
• Conduct regular site meetings to address project progress and resolve any issues.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment with project timelines and budgets.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns and providing updates.
