Job summary

Michael Page International (Canada) is seeking an experienced Construction Site Superintendent for mid-rise/hotel renovation projects across Canada. You will oversee on-site operations, enforce QA/QC standards and coordinate trades to ensure timely progress.

The role requires 10+ years in mid-rise/hotel construction, a related post-secondary degree, and certifications like Working at Heights, WHMIS and First Aid.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction experience as a Mid-Rise/Hotel Construction Site Superintendent.
• Experience reading architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the construction project and site operations.
• Ensure quality of work and materials meet QA/QC standards.
• Organize site staff, trades and contractors and report progress.
• Track daily manpower and maintain a project diary.
• Ensure health and safety plans and MOL requirements are followed.
• Manage budget with Project Manager for Division 1 costs.
• Develop and monitor project schedules and look-ahead plans.
• Actively build a pipeline of upcoming projects.
