Job summary

Parker Huggett - A Division of LRO Staffing is assisting a busy general contractor in Edmonton by recruiting Site Superintendents for multiple ICI projects. You will lead on-site operations, coordinate trades, manage schedules, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years with ICI site leadership, knowledge of Alberta Building Code and OH&S, and a proven leadership style. Permanent, full-time with a base salary between $95,000 and $130,000 plus benefits; construction

Qualifications

• 5+ years running ICI job sites as a Site Superintendent.
• Comfortable managing several trades at once without losing sight of the details.
• Solid grasp of the Alberta Building Code and OH&S requirements.
• A leadership style that keeps crews motivated and subcontractors accountable.
• Valid driver's license.
• Construction Management education is a bonus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Run the day-to-day of an active ICI site: sequencing, trade coordination, and problem-solving in real time.
• Hold subcontractors accountable to schedule, quality, and safety expectations.
• Champion a strong safety culture and keep the site compliant with OH&S requirements.
• Track progress against the master schedule and flag risks before they become delays.
• Complete quality walks and manage deficiency lists through to close-out.
• Keep daily logs, photos, and site reports current and accurate.
• Act as the on-site point of contact for the Project Manager, consultants, and client.

Our client is expanding. A busy general contractor with several ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) projects underway across the Edmonton region needs more boots-on-the-ground leadership, and they're bringing on multiple Site Superintendents to keep pace with the workload.

These are permanent, full-time roles with a base salary in the $95,000 to $130,000 range, depending on experience, plus benefits. Multiple positions are available, so timing is flexible for the right candidates.
