Job summary

PCL Construction Management Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta, is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations, coordinate trades, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality.

You will collaborate with the project team, liaise with clients, and drive execution plans across complex multi-trade sites. Ideal candidates bring Journeyman or Engineering credentials, 15+ years of field supervision, and strong knowledge of safety, scheduling, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Requires journeyman certificate or engineering degree in a related discipline.
• NCSO designation required; Gold Seal enrollment preferred.
• 15 years of progressive field supervision experience preferred.
• Successfully supervised a construction workforce.
• Knowledge of safety, environmental principles and procedures.
• Ability to coordinate schedule and scopes across multiple trades.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations and ensure safety, schedule, and quality on site.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor project team and direct reports.
• Coordinate with project manager, trades, and client to maintain progress.
• Develop and implement project execution plans and lookahead schedules.
• Manage budgets, risks, and contract compliance; support bid pursuits.
