Job summary

Parker Huggett - A Division of LRO Staffing is seeking a Site Superintendent in Calgary for a permanent, full-time role. You will own day-to-day site activities on an active ICI project from mobilization through handover, directing trades and maintaining safety and quality controls.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years’ experience on ICI sites, knowledge of Alberta Building Code and OH&S standards, and a valid driver’s license. Base salary ranges from $95,000 to $135,000 with full benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Site Superintendent on ICI builds.
• Working knowledge of the Alberta Building Code and OH&S standards.
• Track record managing multiple trades on a live site.
• Calm under pressure and direct in communication.
• Valid driver's license and own transportation.
• Formal construction education is an asset, not a requirement.

About the Opportunity

A well-regarded Calgary general contractor is adding a Site Superintendent to their team to run day-to-day operations on an active ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) project.

This is a single, dedicated hire, not a rotating cast, so you'll get real ownership over your site from mobilization through handover.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Manage all on-site activity, from mobilization through final handover
• Direct trades and subcontractors to keep the schedule on track
• Own site safety: toolbox talks, inspections, and incident response
• Coordinate deliveries, laydown, and overall site logistics
• Run quality control checks and manage the deficiency process
• Keep the Project Manager looped in on progress, issues, and changes
• Maintain thorough daily documentation

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:
