Job summary

The Family Centre is seeking an experienced adult educator to design and deliver trauma-informed training for diverse audiences. You will build partnerships, promote programs, and advance learning with engaging workshops, in-person and virtual, while fostering safe learning environments and inclusive practices.

  • Minimum five years of experience in adult learning and workshop delivery.
  • Strong understanding of adult education principles.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations in trauma-informed settings.
  • Willingness to travel and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate workshops for diverse audiences, virtual and in person.
  • Develop relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
  • Design curricula, digital presentations, and participant workbooks.
  • Promote the agency’s services and represent its values.
  • Maintain safe, inclusive learning environments.
  • Support ongoing program development and evaluation.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
