Job summary

Our Place Society seeks a Community Centre Team Lead to support staff through orientation, training and day-to-day guidance. You will foster a trauma-informed, inclusive environment and coordinate with the Community Centre, Street Outreach and Hygiene teams.

You will respond to medical emergencies, assist in scheduling, and help align services with OPS values while maintaining safety and dignity for service users.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds and needs.
• Experience in trauma informed care and community services.

Responsibilities

• Guide orientation, training and work direction for staff and volunteers.
• Promote a safe, welcoming, trauma-informed environment for service users.
• Assist with scheduling, policy review and staff input.
• Represent the Community Centre in meetings and coordinate with other teams.
• Respond to medical emergencies and overdoses as required.
