Job summary

Trellis-Society-For-Community-Impact in Strathmore, Alberta, is seeking a Family and Youth Resource Network Specialist. The role supports wellbeing of children, youth, and families through responsive programs, services, and community-based supports, including risk assessment, planning, and connections to services.

The position requires flexible hours, including some evenings/weekends, with work delivered in hubs, schools, and family homes across the region.

Qualifications

• Diploma, degree, or certificate in Social Work or a related field.
• Experience supporting children, youth, and families with knowledge of development and trauma-informed practice.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, problem-solving and engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, inclusive environment and provide trauma-informed intake, assessment, service planning, and case management.
• Support families with service navigation, coaching, advocacy, referrals, and connections to community services.
• Deliver prevention, early intervention, and intensive supports through individual, family, and group services.
• Build collaborative relationships with families, schools, and partners; participate in planning and reporting.
