Job summary

Midland Transport in Moncton, NB is seeking a Transport Auditor to join a team responsible for accurately capturing, maximizing and posting revenue. The role audits probills in assigned queues, reports and implements proactive resolutions to problems while verifying data entry accuracy.

The Transport Auditor will help ensure revenue integrity, provide support to accounts receivable and sales, and look for opportunities to improve day-to-day processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma, post-secondary training an asset
  • 2 years experience in related field
  • Effective communicator, both verbal & written, with a demonstrated ability to work within team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the focus on meeting strict deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the multiple systems used within the department (AS400)
  • Ability to work effectively in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in transportation is an asset. Leadership development training is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Audit and rate probills in assigned queues and reports. Process any adjustments requests.
  • Accurately rate and audit probills, while keeping a low error count.
  • Process email requests from all sources to ensure accruate shipment and revenue details.
  • Assist accounts receivable and sales with the resolution of billing issues.
  • Check the accuracy of data entry and provide feedback for any inconsistencies.
  • Identify and solve problems before they escal.
  • Look for ways to improve day to day processes.

Midland Transport is currently seeking a Transport Auditor in Moncton, NB. The Transport Auditor will be part of a team of auditors whose goal is to accurately capture, maximize and post revenue. They will be responsible for rating and auditing probills in assigned queues and reports as well as implementing proactive resolutions to problems, and verifying the accuracy of data entry.
