Job summary

Midland Transport is seeking a Major Accounts Coordinator based at our Head Office in Dieppe, NB. You will be the primary contact for a portfolio of strategic customers, delivering an exceptional experience while monitoring accounts and collaborating with internal teams to support retention and growth.

The role requires 2–5 years of call center experience, bilingual English/French, and strong communication. A college diploma is a plus, and Microsoft Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma required; College Diploma considered an asset.
  • 2 to 5 years of call center experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual (English and French) with strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the transportation industry is considered an asset.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance value for customers.
  • Quick learner with the ability to assimilate new information effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of assigned key accounts and portfolios, ensuring customer expectations are met and an exceptional customer experience is delivered.
  • Proactively monitor and review assigned accounts to identify and prevent potential issues.
  • Ensure all customer inquiries and concerns are handled promptly and escalated as required to provide superior customer service.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new customer accounts.
  • Generate and maintain daily, weekly, and period-end reports in a variety of formats.
  • Communicate with Operations and Sales teams as required, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed of issues and developments.
  • Provide support to the Customer Service team during periods of high call volume.
  • Coordinate special freight movements, trace shipments, and investigate billing adjustments and service concerns.
