Location: Ontario OR Quebec - 100% Remote (All expenses paid for Toronto office visits – a few times a year)

Hours: Mon-Fri - 9am-5pm (35 hours/week)

Job Summary: The Translator is responsible for translating internal documents from English into French, adhering to the organizational style guide and industry standards.

Duties:

• Translate documents from English to French and occasionally from French to English.
• Conduct terminology research and maintain the terminology database.
• Keep up with organizational and industry policies and procedures.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
• Perform other translation-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Fluent bilingual proficiency in French & English – spoken and written.
• Bachelor’s degree in translation.
• 3+ years of experience as a translator.
• Excellent proofreading skills with thorough knowledge of French grammar and punctuation.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and other office automation tools.
