Job summary

Akkodis Canada seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support a major Elevated Guideway Transit Project in the Greater Toronto Area. You will coordinate field operations, manage schedules and project controls, track costs, and ensure work is delivered safely and in line with milestones.

You will work with Project Management, Construction, Engineering and Field Operations teams, lead meetings, prepare progress reports, and support junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Experience delivering construction or infrastructure projects with strong coordination skills.
• Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Ability to coordinate across field operations, engineering, consultants and leadership teams.
• Proven track record on major transportation infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Support execution and delivery of a major elevated guideway construction package.
• Coordinate field operations, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Monitor schedules, milestones, productivity and progress against objectives.
• Assist with planning, sequencing and execution strategies.
• Track costs, forecasts, budgets, and commercial performance.
• Lead meetings with partners, consultants and field teams.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate status to leadership.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure quality standards.
