You will work closely with traders, portfolio managers, operations teams, and technology stakeholders to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and deliver solutions that enhance trading efficiency, operational controls, and investment workflows. The successful candidate understands how orders are generated, routed, executed, allocated, and booked, and can confidently bridge conversations between front‑office users and technical delivery teams.

About You

You are comfortable engaging directly with traders and investment professionals, translating business needs into clear functional requirements, and ensuring solutions align with both operational and investment objectives.

You possess a strong understanding of electronic trading, order management systems, execution workflows, and investment operations. You thrive in collaborative environments, can navigate ambiguity, and are known for asking the right questions to uncover root causes and drive meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with traders, portfolio managers, operations teams, and technology stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Analyze and map front‑office trading workflows across order generation, execution, allocation, and post‑trade processing.
  • Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder meetings to understand business challenges and identify solution opportunities.
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and detailed documentation.
  • Support initiatives involving Order Management Systems (OMS), Execution Management Systems (EMS), and trading platform enhancements.
  • Collaborate with development and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
  • Analyze trade lifecycle processes and identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and control enhancements.
  • Support testing activities, including test planning, user acceptance testing, and defect management.
  • Evaluate impacts across front‑office, middle‑office, compliance, and operations teams when implementing new solutions.
  • Contribute to technology modernization initiatives and continuous process improvement efforts.
Core Skills
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, Domain Analyst, or related role.
  • Strong understanding of Capital Markets, Asset Management, Investment Management, or Financial Services environments.
  • Deep knowledge of equity trading workflows and the complete order lifecycle.
  • Experience supporting or working with Order Management Systems (OMS) and/or Execution Management Systems (EMS).
  • Strong understanding of order routing, execution workflows, venue selection, allocations, and post‑trade processing.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.
  • Strong process‑mapping, workflow analysis, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience supporting Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working across business, operations, and technology teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Nice‑to‑Haves
  • SQL, Power BI, Python, or data analytics experience.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar delivery tools.
  • Exposure to cloud‑based data platforms and enterprise data initiatives.
  • Experience supporting large‑scale transformation or modernization programs.
  • Progress toward CFA, CBAP, PMP, or similar professional certifications.
