Job summary

Luxoft is partnering with a leading institutional investor to recruit a Business Analyst focused on trading platforms and front-office data. You will gather requirements, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and drive BRD/test plan development in collaboration with traders, operations, and technology teams.

You will map as-is and to-be processes, review UI/UX, and translate complex needs into executable workflows and documentation while leveraging SQL and Python analytics.

Qualifications

• Proven BA experience supporting trading platforms with OMS/EMS, FIX, connectivity, and best-execution analysis
• Deep knowledge of the end-to-end trade lifecycle: order creation, execution, clearing, settlement, corporate actions, rebalancing, connectivity testing
• Strong command of front-office trading data domains, data attributes, lineage, quality controls, inter-system dependencies
• Hands-on experience designing trading workflows across cash equities, listed & OTC derivatives, and FX
• Experience with money market instruments (REPO, lending) is a plus
• Deep understanding of synthetics and swap products (TRS, FX Swaps, IRS) and inter-account booking
• Ability to decompose complex trade structures into executable flows spanning order capture, routing, execution, fills, allocations, ticketing, financing, internalization, and risk/house bookings
• Excellent communication; ability to partner with traders, operations, and tech stakeholders
• Strong documentation: BRDs and test plans covering scope, assumptions, exclusions, business rules, and edge scenarios
• SQL and stored procedures; reading Python code is an advantage
• Highly organized with prioritization and blockers resolution

• Strong command of front-office trading data domains, including data attributes, lineage, quality controls, inter-system dependencies, and interactions between trading, market, and reference data
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing trading workflows across cash equities, listed & OTC derivatives, and FX
• Experience with money market instruments (e.g., REPO, stock borrowing and lending) is a plus
• Deep understanding of synthetics and swap products (TRS, FX Swaps, IRS) and associated implementations, including inter-account booking and internal cross scenarios
• Ability to decompose complex trade structures into executable flows spanning order capture, routing, execution, fills, allocations, ticketing, financing, internalization, and risk/house bookings
• Behavioral & Interpersonal Skills:
• Excellent communication skills; ability to partner effectively with traders, operations, and business & technology stakeholders

• Technical fluency in SQL and stored procedures; ability to read Python code is an advantage
