Job summary

Brunel in Corunna, Ontario, is seeking a Track Administrator for a 12-month assignment supporting a chemical manufacturing client. The role focuses on end-to-end time entry for track-enabled labor, ensuring accuracy, correct WBS, cost codes, and charging instructions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Grade 12 education with 7+ years of related experience.
  • Expert computer skills are required.
  • SharePoint experience is required.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • TRACK Contractor Management System experience is required.
  • SAP experience would be an asset.
  • Strong organization and time management to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Detail oriented with a low tolerance for errors.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee time entry to ensure cost accuracy.
  • Manage time entry activities for high-volume data processing.
  • Serve as the primary contact for time entry questions, exceptions, and escalations.
  • Ensure contractual integrity for Track-enabled vendors by aligning with agreements.
  • Lead onboarding and integration of vendors into the Track system.
  • Ensure compliance with site, contractor, and union rules.
  • Collaborate with MW, MCI, and Track SMEs to implement enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain reporting structures to monitor vendor labor performance.
  • Reconcile Track labor cost centers each shift.
  • Correct misallocations to protect labor reporting accuracy.
  • Build relationships with vendor timekeepers for accurate reporting.
  • Schedule, facilitate, and lead meetings with vendor timekeepers.
  • Train Time Entry Support Team on processes and best practices.
  • Provide ongoing guidance to vendor timekeepers.

Track Administrator

Introduction

Brunel is seeking a Track Administrator to support our chemical manufacturing client’s team for a 12-month assignment. As a member of the administrative team, this position is responsible for managing the end-to-end time entry process for all track enabled labor resources. This role ensures that time is captured accurately, consistently, and on schedule, aligned to the correct work breakdown structure (WBS), cost codes, and charging instructions.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee time entry to ensure cost accuracy.
  • Manage time entry activities, ensuring high-volume, high-velocity data processing.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for time entry questions, exceptions, and escalations.
  • Ensure contractual integrity for all Track-enabled vendors by aligning field execution with contractual agreements.
  • Lead the end-to-end onboarding and integration of vendors into the Track system.
  • Ensure compliance with all site, contractor, and union rules.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance Work (MW), MCI, and other Track subject matter experts to implement system enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain reporting structures within Track to monitor, measure, and forecast vendor labor performance.
  • Ensure all Track labor cost centers are reconciled each shift.
  • Correct misallocations promptly to protect labor cost accuracy and reporting integrity.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendor timekeepers to support accurate and consistent labor reporting.
  • Schedule, facilitate, and lead regular meetings with vendor timekeepers to review expectations, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Train and support members of the Time Entry Support Team to ensure consistent execution of processes.
  • Deliver training and ongoing guidance to vendor timekeepers to promote compliance, accuracy, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum Grade 12 education plus 7+ years combination of applicable post-secondary education and related experience. Expert computer skills are required.
  • SharePoint experience is required
  • Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Drive and Teams
  • TRACK Contractor Management System experience required
  • SAP experience would be an asset
  • Organization and time management to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Detail oriented with a low tolerance for errors
  • Effective communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others in a team environment
  • High level of customer service with the ability to professionally manage requests from internal and external stakeholders
