Job description

Brunel is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Materials Management Advisor to join our oil and gas client’s team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing materials management operations to ensure efficient flow of materials to our offshore facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate demand and release of materials in SAP
  • Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
  • Monitor and analyze materials management performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Manage relationship with warehouse staff to ensure process and procedures are met
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Prepare and present reports on materials management activities
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure material requirements meet business objectives
  • Identify and implement best practices in materials management
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or business would be considered an asset
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in materials management
  • Strong knowledge of materials management standards and practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using materials management software and ERP systems, in particular SAP
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
