Job summary

Martinrea International Inc. is hiring a Production Associate at our Ontario manufacturing facility. The role emphasizes assembling, quality checks and packaging in a fast-paced plant environment, with a focus on meeting team production goals and maintaining safety standards.

Ideal candidates have strong English communication, are comfortable standing for an 8-hour shift, and can work 3-shift rotations (including weekends). Training is provided, with internal growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)
• Some experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Able to be on your feet and moving for an 8-hour shift
• Flexibility with regard to hours and scheduling, 3 shift rotation and possible weekends
• Light quality-control experience a plus
• Must have reliable transportation
• Eligible to work in Canada

Responsibilities

• Assembling, performing quality checks, and packaging products per the Standard Work Instruction
• Meeting or exceeding all team production goals on a consistent basis
• Loading and unloading items from machines and conveyances
• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Observing equipment operations and notifying operators of malfunctions; wearing PPE at all times in work areas
• Performing general cleanup and maintenance of your work area
• Back-up Duties: Perform other duties as required
