This Production Associate role is the heart of the plant, with internal opportunities for advancement. The position in Canada requires strong English communication, basic quality-control experience, and the ability to work 8-hour shifts

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
• Some experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to be on your feet and moving for an 8-hour shift.
• Flexibility with regard to hours and scheduling, 3 shift rotation and possible weekends.
• Light quality-control experience a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Assembling, performing quality checks, and packaging products per the Standard Work Instruction.
• Meeting or exceeding all team production goals on a consistent basis.
• Loading and unloading items from machines and conveyances.
• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Observing equipment operations to detect malfunctions and notifying operators.
• Wearing all required PPE at all times in work areas.
• Performing general cleanup and maintenance of the work area.
