Job summary

Martinrea International Inc. in Ontario is hiring a Production Associate to be the heart of the plant, performing assembly, quality checks and packaging per Standard Work Instructions. The role requires good English communication, ability to stand for 8-hour shifts, and flexibility for a 3-shift rotation with possible weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
• Some experience working in a manufacturing environment.

• Reliable transportation and eligibility to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Assembling, performing quality checks, and packaging products per the Standard Work Instruction.
• Meeting or exceeding all team production goals on a consistent basis.
• Loading and unloading items from machines and conveyances.
• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Observing equipment operations and notifying operators of malfunctions; wearing PPE at all times.
• Performing general cleanup and maintenance of the work area.

Required Qualifications

• Excellent English Communication Skills (oral and written)
• Some experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to be on your feet and moving for an 8-hour shift
• Flexibility with regard to hours and scheduling, 3 shift rotation and possible weekends.
• Light quality-control experience a plus
• Must have reliable transportation
• Eligible to work in Canada
