Job summary

The Narmco Group in Windsor, Ontario is seeking a Tool & Die Estimator to prepare bids, manage quotation timeframes, and generate quotations using tooling resources. This role reports to the Plant Manager and supports the sales team in delivering precise quotes for stamping projects.

You will review quotations with senior management, assist in technical presentations for customers, and contribute to ongoing process improvements within a fast-growing automotive stamping operation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years quoting experience in stamping, tool & die.
• Knowledge of stamping process, tool & die build and assembly.
• Proficiency with database/spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bids for existing and new work opportunities.
• Manage quotation timeframes to ensure on-time delivery.
• Generate quotations using tooling resources as required.
• Provide detailed review notes showing operations and part processing.
• Review quotations with executive management when necessary.
• Prepare and support technical presentations with Sales for customer requirements.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.

• Pay or shift range: $30 CAD to $37 CAD
  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

The Narmco Group is an industry leader in the automotive industry for metal stamping and assembly. As a result of continuously growing our professional team, we have a challenging career opportunity for an Tool & Die Estimator. Tool & Die Estimator will report directly to the Plant Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparation of bids on both existing and new work opportunities.
• Responsible for management of quotation timeframes to ensure on time delivery.
• Responsible for generation of the quotation using tooling resources as required to accomplish this task.
• Include sufficient detail in the review process to show operations and explain the processing of the part.
• When necessary, review quotations with executive management.
• Prepare and support technical presentations with Sales for the customer requirements.
• Perform all other duties as required by immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of stamping process, tool & die build and assembly.
• Minimum 3-5 years quoting experience in stamping, tool & die.
• A working knowledge of database/spreadsheet software programs is required.
