Ideal candidates have 3+ years in machining, Red Seal or CNC certification, and experience with Heidenhain/Fanuc controls. This on-site position offers a competitive hourly range and room to grow within a full-service tooling company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a machining environment; Tool & Die industry is an asset.
• Basic knowledge of Lemoine programming software.
• Experience with 5-axis machining and/or Work NC would be an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/schematics.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay or shift range: $25 CAD to $33 CAD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

An industry leader in the automotive industry for metal stampings and assembly has a career opportunity for a CNC Programmer/Machinist. We are a full-service tooling provider of both progressive and tandem dies, specializing in deep draw, aluminum, ultra high strength steel (UHSS) and complex stamping dies.

We are recruiting for a vacant position.

Hourly Rate = $25.00 - $33.00/hr

Job Summary

Job Requirements

• General Machinist (Red Seal) or Mechanical Technician /CNC certification or equivalent combination of technical courses and/or experience
• Minimum 3 years experience in a machining environment, Tool & Die industry is an asset
• Basic knowledge of Lemoine programming software
• Basic experience with Heidenhain and Fanuc controllers
• Experience with 5-axis machining and/or working with Work NC would be an asset
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/schematics
• Effective interpersonal skills and team mentality
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good organizational skills
