Job summary

Narmco Group seeks a Senior Die Designer to craft progressive, transfer and line dies for automotive stamping applications. You will engage with customers during design reviews and provide technical support across machining, tryout, and build stages, while maintaining complete design documentation.

The role requires 1–2 years in tool design, with strong CAD skills (3D/solid modelling) and experience in ProE/Creo 7.0, NX or AutoForm a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years tool design experience.
• Background in metal stamping is an asset.
• ProE/Creo 7.0 experience is required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Designing progressive, transfer and line dies.
• Interacting with customers regarding design reviews and follow-up.
• Providing technical support to machining/tryout/build throughout the die manufacturing process.
• Maintaining documentation records of complete die design.
• Creating process layouts for part data.
• Develop trim lines/ morph surfaces/troubleshoot.

• Pay or shift range: $25 CAD to $30 CAD

Description

The Narmco Group is an industry leader in the automotive industry for metal stamping and assembly. As a result of continuously growing our professional team, we have an exciting, challenging career opportunity for a Senior Die Designer. Our stamping processes utilize both progressive and tandem dies, specializing in deep draw, aluminum, ultra high strength steel (UHSS) and complex stamping dies.

This is for a vacant position.

Wage range: $25.00 - $30.00

Responsibilities include:

• Designing progressive, transfer and line dies
