Job summary

The Narmco Group is an automotive industry leader in metal stamping and assembly, based in Windsor, Ontario. We are expanding our team and seeking a Tool & Die Estimator to report to the Plant Manager and drive bids for new and existing work.

Responsibilities include preparing quotations, managing timeframes, detailing part processing in reviews, and supporting Sales with technical presentations. This role requires stamping/tool & die knowledge and strong spreadsheet skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of stamping process, tool & die build and assembly.
• Minimum 3-5 years quoting experience in stamping, tool & die.
• Working knowledge of database/spreadsheet software programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bids on both existing and new work opportunities.
• Manage quotation timeframes to ensure on time delivery.
• Generate the quotation using tooling resources as required to accomplish this task.
• Include sufficient detail in the review process to show operations and explain the processing of the part.
• Review quotations with executive management when necessary.
• Prepare and support technical presentations with Sales for the customer requirements.
• Perform all other duties as required by immediate supervisor.

• Pay or shift range: $30 CAD to $37 CAD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
